Here it is! – another crafty idea inspired by the K-Mart. All finished, and don’t they look gorgeous!! Happy Easter Everyone!

Thanks for waiting to see the finished product. Kate spent most of the afternoon and evening yesterday filling them with chocolate eggs, ‘paper macheing’ them closed and then painting them. They look great! A wonderful handmade gift for everyone on Sunday morning. Happy Easter everyone. He is risen!

Watch this Space! Easter Project 2017

My daughter found this great Easter Craft on Facebook. She especially liked the paper mache eggs filled with small chocolate eggs. Check it out:

She was so excited about giving it ago we had to go straight to the supermarket to buy the chocolate eggs and water balloons.  I even had to rearrange my craft room and make room for her on my craft table so that she could make them as soon as we got home.

Here are some photos of the progress. Stay posted to see the end product. She is making a whole bunch of them to give away to friends and family this Easter. Go Kate!

Yes! K-Mart! I discovered all this when I was trying to find cheap blank cards for a card making group I was running. Not only did I find cheap cards but lots of other wonderful craft treasures that look great and don’t cost a fortune.
